She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 54 years, Ronald, her daughters Manon (Ottawa) and Francine (Honourable Judge Patrick Boucher) of Sudbury and her 3 very special grandchildren, Alexia (Mike), Samuel (Jordan) and Claire. She was born on February 9, 1949 in Kingsville, Texas to Ruben Mendez and Viola Martinez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Barbara Jean Cooper passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 70.
